Acajou Hotel is situated on the romantic island of Praslin, the island of the endemic Coco de Mer palm and the illusive Black Parrot. Praslin is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The hotel is located on the east coast of Praslin, on the beautiful Cote D'Or beach. It seeks to introduce a new concept of living in the midst of nature. Acajou is named after the South African acajou (mahogany) which was used to build this 28 roomed deluxe hotel.

The hotel comprises 28 tastefully decorated rooms (24 standard & 4 superior) spread out amidst casuarinas and takamaka trees by the water's edge, each room with a balcony facing the sea. The rooms are spacious and equipped with bath/shower, hair dryer, air conditioning, IDD telephones, satellite TV, mini-bar, individual safe and piped music.

The hotel has a beach restaurant and bar catering for daytime meals and snacks while the main restaurant and cocktail lounge entertains guests inthe evenings. The service is authentic Seychellois - very friendly and charming.

Within a short distance from the hotel is a modern casino, dive center and just five minutes by car is the jetty where you can catch the ferry to neighbouring island of La Digue. Arrangements for excursions can be made at the hotel.
